Experience after hemorrhoidectomy Hi All, I underwent surgery on 23rd March 2022 for fissure and piles. It was under spinal anaesthesia. Post surgery once anaesthesia effect waned away; there was pain and just paracetmol didn’t work. I had to be given Tramadol. Next day onwards pain was bearable with paracetmol. I am on anti biotics and milder painkillers. But there is a watery discharge that soaks a cotton gauge that I keep. Every motion has a bloody spotting / clot. I have started 30 minutes walks. Today it’s the 5th day post surgery day. I wanted to know experience of others in this regard post surgery. Doctor has given basic advice that no straining or swimming pool. Rest I can try to be as normal as possible. But this clot in BMs haunts me. I thought with laser it would be even less bloodier or messier. Please provide any relevant inputs / thoughts / advice.
