I was told that there was a post on here that had suggestions for work excuses for hemorrhoid surgery. Looking for a surgery that has a similar recovery period that I could say just in case my boss/coworkers really press me about what I'm having surgery for.

It may be different for me since i work in a very chill restaurant environment but I just told everyone i had “butt surgery” and those who asked more i was happy to elaborate. everyone was empathetic and kind towards me, most of my older coworkers were like “everyone gets them. i’m glad you were able to get them removed” or something along those lines.

🙏 I think we all make it 100x worse in our minds. The upside of honesty is those we might help if we allowed ourselves to be more vulnerable
