I’m 7 days post op.  I haven’t taken pain medications in 2 days.   My question is how long did you guys wait before returning to work? I’m scared to return too early as I cannot control when I get the urge to have a BM and I am still screaming a bit after the BM from the pain.   Luckily I live alone and no one can hear me.

I wouldn’t return as long as I felt like that.  Better to return in earnest without those uncertainties hanging over you

Depends on what kind of surgery op you had, but you should certainly be ready or very close in a week
