Hi, I’ve posted on Reddit before for some advice but thought I’d ask here as well! I got some skin tags removed a few weeks ago, recovery was a bit of a struggle, but I had my final follow up with my doctor and she said everything looked good even though I had some concerns. Fast forward a week later and a “bump” has formed on one of the sides of the incision site. This is hard to explain but the way the skin tag is the skin still hasn’t completely come together, so it’s constantly reopening. I’m stressed it’s a new skin tag forming but my doctor wouldn’t come out and actually tell me if it was or wasn’t. It looks almost shiny and round, and although it’s small I can feel it whenever I wipe. Sometimes it has a sharp shooting sensation almost super itchy. Nothing I’ve done has made it gone away. I’m upset cause I had the surgery done and they may be coming back. :( Has anyone has this same experience? Could it possibly be swelling still? Any advice appreciated.
