shared a chat session in group #Rhoid Rage (& recovery)

I had rubber band ligation done again. I had it done once before about a month or two ago and the pain I felt was excruciating. This time, however, I felt pain upon awakening (they can’t do in office for me because I have a spastic sphincter). I don’t feel anything anymore but is that reason to worry? Or is it supposed to feel virtually pain-free? Also, I noticed the last time that they pulled the internal hemorrhoid out, but this time it’s inside. Is that how it’s supposed to be? I just really want this to work.

How are you feeling? What’s next? Glad that you’re developing some healthy habits from it! @Brandon Wade

They put you to sleep for banding? I was wide awake. Super awkward though with your butt up in the air under a light with a Dr and 2 nurses staring into your anus. I never went back for the second set of bands due to the humiliation I felt.

They put you to sleep for band...
How’s your condition now? Maybe you’re better off with a more modern method anyway @Joseph
